Sarah is originally from Michigan but spent most of her “growing up” years in Bucks County, PA where she participated in school sports and spent years riding and training her first love, horses. A child of the 60s, she spent a few years hitching across the country after high school. She was fortunate enough to rub elbows with some of the outstanding musicians of the time and can pin Woodstock to her “been there, done that” vest. When the wanderlust subsided, she gained an Associate Degree in Business and graduated Cum Laude.
In 1996 she moved to Colorado and in 2015 settled in Fort Collins. She has held numerous positions throughout the years, all of which demanded excellent interpersonal skills. She believes that in just about every instance conflict can be smoothed over with listening, empathy, humor, and a willingness to go the extra distance to attempt to resolve the issue. Sarah is always willing to assist where ever she can. She feels that ZGL is a perfect fit for her.
Sarah has a son and daughter-in-law in Fischer, TX, and a step-son in Dallas, neither of which she sees frequently enough. She loves to ride her road bike and hike. Her days of rock climbing and skiing are behind her now. You’ll find her curled up with a good book and a glass of wine many evenings and she loves live music at any venue. Her preferred musical decades are the 60s and 70s (think old singer-songwriters).
LIKES: Road biking, hiking just about anywhere, football, hockey, books, black licorice, live music, a good a glass of wine, a good joke, and good company.
DISLIKES: Conflict, cilantro, the Dallas Cowboys, Rap and Hip Hop, folks with no sense of humor and
most technology
