Sarah has a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from Iowa State University. She joined the ZGL team in the Spring of 2016. Sarah inherited her love of gardening from her mother, and they have been working side by side in the yard since childhood. Sarah enjoys bringing the client’s dreams and ideas together to create the landscape they desire. Sarah strives to make each landscape an outdoor extension of the home, crafting an area people enjoy themselves and while entertaining friends.
In her spare time, Sarah is an avid Ultimate Frisbee competitor. She travels around all the United States playing at tournaments with her team. Every once in awhile, she’ll even travel to other countries to compete. Sarah is also is trying to pass on her love for Ultimate by coaching the college team at Colorado State University. When she isn’t tossing around a disc on the weekends she’s out hiking or backpacking through the mountains. At home, she enjoys spending time with her rescue cat, Fitz, and her large collection of houseplants.
